Happy Midsummer!
Most of you should know about how the swedes celebrate midsummer. Well for those of you who don't, that is when Swedes across the globe tend to get together and dance around a midsummer pole that represents fertility. Then the theme is to eat lots of food such as pickled herring, potatoes and other foods that we also eat at Easter and Christmas. Most importantly you sing and drink schnapps to get drunk. Greg, his mum and went to the Swedish celebrations today that was organised by the Swedish club at Albany Hills Primary school which was lovely. There was plenty of cute little blond kids running around and lots of not so cute adults wearing Swedish like clothing (blue and yellow t-shirts with Sweden or lots of crowns on them).
The other photo is from when our garage door fell down last weekend. Ah, the joys of things that break.
Take care. Love, Angie X
